David Bourgeois
Composer-Producer, Principal
David Bourgeois has worked in professional music and audio production for over twenty-five years. Compositions for film, television, advertising and multi-media are all part of David’s resume.
David is a classically trained percussionist with a strong background in world instrumentation. He studied percussion under Herb Flowers of the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra and Richard Albagli of the Albany Symphony Orchestra. In addition, David studied computer music with electronic music pioneer Joel Chadabe at the State University of New York at Albany.
Acting as President of White Lake Music & Post, David oversees audio production, music composition, location recording and audio post production for a broad range of clients. In addition to work with other clients, David provides voice-over recording for TLC’s hit television show "While You Were Out" and is completing the original music score and audio supervision for the feature film “The Last Round”, featuring X-Files regular William B. Davis. The film will be David's 3rd feature score.
David is a performing member of the Percussive Arts Society, serves on the steering commitee of the Schenectady County Film Makers Alliance and is the president and creative director of Creative Voice Development Group, specializing in Voice Acting training and demo development.
Chris Scharling
Recording & Post-Production Engineer
A graduate of the State University of New York at Oneonta’s BA Music Industry Program, Chris’s primary role with White Lake Music & Post is audio engineering, audio production and post-production. Chris is Digidesign certified Pro Tools expert and has worked extensively training others in high-end audio software and production. In addition, Chris has worked as a live sound audio engineer. Chris is also educated in web development and visual media software including Final Cut and Photoshop.
Chris continues to pursue music as a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and singer with his own band and with other studio projects.
Chris was also voted the 2002 songwriter of the year at SUNY Oneonta.
Anna Bourgeois
Studio Opperations Director
Anna Bourgeois earned a BA in radio, television and film from Temple University in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Anna has served as a live venue production coordinator, catering to acts including Living Color, Fishbone and comedian Chris Rock. She has worked as an NBC affiliate news camera opperator and television station master control opperator. Anna is also experienced in location production, audio recording and project management and logistics having worked on projects for clients including The New York State Psychological Association, Fountainhead Pictures and TLC / Discovery Chanel Networks.
Anna's years of management and management training experience in the corporate sector combined with her education and production experience allow her oversee the business, logistics and budgeting aspects for all of White Lake's projects.
Jenny Forman
Studio Manager
Jenny is directly responsible for the day-to-day operations of our studios as well as our production, travel and post-production schedules. She also works closely with our clients, managing project details and logistics.
Jenny is a life long musician and music lover. She has performed as a vocalist for many years and is also a skilled saxophone player. Jenny is also active as an event emcee for events in the private, corporate and government sectors.
Jenny’s combined skill as an office manager and paralegal coupled with her previous experience working with two major law firms make her an ideal addition to the White Lake team.
Our clients continually comment on Jenny’s upbeat and outgoing demeanor as well as her attention to detail and willingness to go out of her way to assist them.
John Gallogly
Producing Engineer
With a degree in communications from Hudson Valley Community College, John brings a strong background in acting, production and professional music to the White Lake team. Since childhood, John has been involved in commercial acting. As a singer, John recorded his first album when he was 9 years old. John continued in music as a co-founder of the contemporary hip-hop band Poetic Avenue, Singer and co-writer for the tribal-industrial band Treaty and as the singer and lyrisist for the band Simon Screams.
John has also worked as a professional club DJ and annnouncer and has trained other professionals in the DJ and emcee fields.
As a producer, John has enormous expertise working with Voice Actors and voice-over production. In addition to his role with WLM&P, John is the Assistant director of education for Creative Voice Development Group, specializing in Voice Actor training.
Don Bowers
Client Services
Don Bowers is a career broadcast and communication professional. As a radio host, Don has worked extensively as a morning show DJ and talk show host. Additionally Don regularly appears as an emcee for events in the corporate, government and private sectors. Don's extensive experience developing and voicing effeective communication campaigns for companies across the North East allows him to guide WLM&P clients in utilizing our services to most effectively realize their goals.
